INORGANIC NITROGEN ANALYZER

The 380 Inorganic Nitrogen Analyzer is an analytical system used to determine inorganic nitrogen levels in aqueous solutions. The 380 can analyze ammonia in virtually any aqueous solution, and with an optional in-line reduction cartridge, nitrate and nitrite concentrations can also be determined. The 380 INA is a modular system consisting of: 1) Model 303 Peristaltic Pump 2) Model 370 Gas diffusion Module 3) Model 550 Conductivity Detector. The 380 INA uses a patented gas diffusion/conductivity technology. The sample is mixed with KOH, converting ammonium ion to ammonia gas. This gas diffuses through a permeable membrane into an absorber solution. The absorber enters a conductivity detector where the change due to ammonia gas is measured.
