This instrument can be combined with a variety of detectors such as: ion-selective electrodes, UV/VIS spectrometers, atomic absorption and atomic fluorescence instruments.
When used with an ion-selective electrode detection system the AI 4100 automatically filters and dilutes the sample flow before adding it to the cell eliminating time consuming sample preparation steps. The syringe pump then automatically adds up to 5 ionic strength adjusters or reagents to minimize interferences.
This instrument uses MS Windows software which allows for automated operator control of all experimental parameters through an easy to flow pictorial interface.
